Can I use it without iTunes?

PodBridge provides a direct iPhone/iPad Files workflow for supported click-wheel iPods. The iPod must appear in Files through a compatible cable or adapter.

Does it download Apple Music or iTunes Store files?

No. It transfers files the owner is authorized to use and does not bypass DRM.

Is Rockbox required?

No. PodBridge does not install Rockbox; use the documented destination for the firmware you already have.
